News - J2EE Apps from UML

GLO is a UK domiciled company actively seeking domestic and international opportunities. Please direct general inquires to Michael Tanaka, with technical inquiries to William Pearson.

GLO continues to exploit its configurable code generation technology to create large scale, state-based solutions from UML (XMI) models. Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs) are created from two main UML diagrams: the Class Diagram, which specifies the inheritance and structure of the EJB, and Statechart Diagrams, which specify the behaviour. The code generator has been reconfigured to produce Java instead of C. In addition, it creates XML for configuration information. The Java and XML are packaged into an EAR file that can be executed by the J2EE management framework.

Release of this technology is scheduled for Q2 2005.
